Jelena Deglis
International Quality Manager
As the UHY International's membership quality manager, Jelena works closely with the senior partners across the UHY network to oversee members’ quality reviews, such as assessment of annual programmes, evaluation of results and assist in remedial actions when appropriate.
She also provides technical support for network members, including network updates on new developments in regulations and requirements, in particularly in the areas of audit assurance and quality management.
Jelena is based in Ireland and is a qualified member of Chartered Accountant of Ireland. She has experience in audit and assurance of large multi-national groups as well as small domestic companies within diverse industries. Jelena also has experience in carrying out quality assurance inspections of audit and non-audit firms on behalf of an Irish recognised accountancy body.
Jelena is a keen gardener and enjoys unwinding in the garden. She is also passionate about sustainability and strongly believes that each of us has the power to make a positive impact.
