Membership Fees
UHY is funded from three sources: initiation fees, annual fees and referral fees.
Initiation fee
Each new member pays UHY an initiation fee, which is determined by the UHY Board of Directors. The Board takes account of variations in purchasing power parities and can vary the standard fee. Initiation fees vary between US$2,500 and US$10,000.
Annual fees
Each member pays UHY an annual fee which is calculated on the member's turnover. The Board reviews the amount of the fee periodically. The fee is currently subject to a minimum level of US$1,500.
Referral fees
Each member carrying out work for a client referred to it by another member pays a referral fee, currently 12.5% of any fees that it collects from the client. Of this 12.5% referral fee, UHY retains 7.5% and the referring firm receives the remaining 5%.
