How to Apply
UHY is actively seeking members in the countries where we do not currently have coverage. Of high priority are countries in North Africa, Finland, the Middle East, South-East Asia, South America and the Caribbean.
If your firm would like to apply for membership in UHY the procedure is as follows:
- Email info@uhy.com to request further information and a membership application form
- Upon return of your application form to the executive office it will be submitted to the UHY Board for review
- If the Board wishes to proceed with your application a UHY Board member (or someone designated by the Board) will visit your firm's office. This person will review the general and audit systems of your firm's practice in order to judge suitability for membership in UHY and will report his/her findings to the Board
- If the Board is satisfied by the review it will offer your firm membership, subject to a postal vote of all existing UHY member firms and completion of the necessary paperwork
- The instrument of membership is a deed of adherence under which a member firm agrees to abide by the UHY constitution. Upon joining, newly elected members pay an initiation fee and a prorated amount of annual dues depending on the date of joining. Full members receive a share certificate for a shareholding in UHY.
