UHY International welcomes first member firm in Kazakhstan

Emerging markets benefit from international expertise

UHY International, a top fifteen growing global accounting network, continues to develop into emerging markets as it welcomes UHY SAPA-Consulting as its member firm in Kazakhstan.

The appointment of UHY SAPA-Consulting LLP in Kazakhstan adds to a long list of member firms in emerging markets that have joined the network in the latter part of 2007, including: Colombia, Croatia, Ecuador, Indonesia, Kazakhstan and Uruguay.

UHY SAPA-Consulting LLP was established in 2000 by managing partner, Talgat Nurgaziev, who in 2004 was recognized as Auditor of the Year in Kazakhstan. The firm has 40 employees working across branches in Aktobe, Almaty, Astana (the capital city), Atyrau, Shymkent and Ural’sk and is an honorary member of the Chamber of Auditors of the Republic of Kazakhstan. They specialise in a number of sectors including property, construction, oil & gas, hotel & leisure, and postal services.

Financial Director of UHY SAPA-Consulting LLP, Aivhna Syz, commented,

“Joining the UHY International network presents a great opportunity for UHY SAPA-Consulting LLP. We are one of the leading audit firms in Kazakhstan with a wealth of expertise and knowledge about our market, which we can share with other UHY International member firms and their clients. We are already receiving requests from other member firms within the network, especially Europe, whose clients are looking to do business or set up in business in Kazakhstan. Becoming a member of UHY International will give us much greater reach when helping our clients consider and enter international markets and enable us to work with clients with global requirements.?

John Wolfgang, Chairman of UHY International, commented,

“This is a very exciting time for UHY International with so many firms in emerging markets applying to join our network. The presence of a member firm in Kazakhstan will give our network greater reach and depth of expertise across West and Central Asia.?
