UHY continues rapid growth

UHY International, the fourth fastest growing international accounting network, has formally welcomed six new member firms to its global network. So far this year, nine new member firms have joined the network, bringing the total membership to 102 in 60 countries.
The new member firms come from China, Egypt, Estonia, Latvia, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Ladislav Hornan, chairman of UHY International, commented, “These new member firms all come from the vitally important emerging markets of Asia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East, regions where we have achieved major network expansion this year. These are markets where there is a rapidly growing demand for professional advice from advisors with a real understanding of the issues facing mid size growth businesses, either native to those markets or entering them. These new member firms further strengthen our presence in these dynamic markets.
Ladislav Hornan continued, “Our clients are looking for local knowledge combined with international capability but they also want a credible alternative to the huge global firms – they want to work with people who have a real empathy with growing businesses and can give them advice which will support their ambitions. For example, we have recently been instrumental in bringing both Chinese and Malaysian companies to the London AIM market. It is because we have strong local firms, such as the ones we are now welcoming to our network, that we are attracting clients with ambitions to grow."
These most recent joiners bring the UHY International network up to 182 offices in 60 countries, with over 5500 staff.
