Darren Millard
Darren is the founding member and partner of UHY LDMB Advisors Inc, a licensed Chartered Accounting firm in British Columbia, Canada, where he is in charge of international and cross border taxation. He is a board member of UHY International, is chair of the UHY Business Development & Marketing Working Group, and a member of the Canada U.S. Tax Team (CUTT). Darren is a registered Estate and Trust Planner (TEP), a licensed Chartered Accountant in British Columbia and Alberta, and is a licensed CPA in the State of Illinois.
Professional Experience
- Focuses on providing tax solutions and tax compliance services for individuals and corporations, provides tax strategies for Canadian and U.S. companies performing cross border business transactions as a member of the UHY Canada U.S. Tax Team, working with UHY CUTT members in Massachusetts, Michigan, Toronto and Montreal.
- Experience providing reorganisation and turnaround services, loss utilisation planning, amalgamations and remuneration planning.
- Provides strategic assistance for the purchase and sale of businesses including financial due diligence.
- Develops effective tax structures for partnership agreements.
- Helps companies enter new international markets by providing business entity and tax planning strategies as well as preservation of personal assets.
